"Asthma alternative treatments. First of all it's most important to have a proper diagnosis from a licensed medical physician whether it's a family practitioner or a pulmonologist, a doctor that is practicing in lung diseases. It is important to have an education in the what this disease or disorder is. So that you'll understand what the, how asthma works. It's also important to know how the allergic reactions occur. Perhaps just knowing what triggers the asthma. Breathing exercises will help as an alternative to perhaps other treatments. Air purifiers, it's very important to keep the air clean. And also keep your diet rich in vegetables, fish, grains, and fruits, especially apples. For some reason apples have been proven that you have less attacks if you stay on, if you eat apples regularly. Also it has been found by many studies that everyone who has been diagnosed with asthma has a low magnesium count. And that is usually given by I.V. But that is something you would have to discuss with your physician. All asthma patients have a decreased magnesium. Avoid additives, avoid colds, and pneumonias, and people with flu bugs. Avoid severe weather changes. Avoid smokers and second-hand smoke. And also get a diagnosis early so you'll know what you're dealing with so you'll know how to make things be more applicable to your disorder and treating your asthma."
