"You know I got, I was assistant art director at Motorsport Publications, I knew nothing about what I was doing, I was there to assist the art director and he just told me what to do. I wanted to know a little more about it so I started going through their files and going through all the designs they've done and all of the production and learn how you put a magazine together. And I think that that was a good, a good start because what has happened to graphic design is it's changed and it changes everyday. You really have to reinvent yourself, I know this is a cliche but you have to reinvent yourself everyday because graphic design is changing. And the graphic designer needs to take the communication skills and the production skills that they have and marshal them in such a way that they have value, that they have worth and when you do, business will find you and business will use you. I mean a lot of the direct mail kinds of stuff that we do, we do a lot of wraps for magazines, subscription wraps, direct mail solicitations, a lot of number 10 envelopes, a lot of 6x0 envelopes with a sales letter and a brochure and that sort of thing and you need to know how to make yourself have value, give worth to your clients and when they make money, they'll come back."
