Hi, my name is Brooke Kramer, and I am the financial aid officer with Argosy University in Salt Lake City. And today, we're going to talk about how to find scholarships for African Americans. And the first thing you're going to want to do is first check out the university or college that you are planning on attending and talk to the scholarship committee there. See what types of scholarships are available, and specifically see if there is one maybe particularly for African Americans or that is maybe for diversity. You can also check out different types of community organizations -- see if there are scholarships specifically for African Americans through organizations or also through non-profit organizations. You will also want to start preparing essays as well as well-written resumes to apply for these scholarships. It's very important that you put yourself across very well in order to win the scholarship. If you have any other questions regarding this, please visit our website at www.argosy.edu.
