Hi, my name is Brooke Kramer, and I'm the financial aid officer with Argosy University in Salt Lake City. And today, we're going to talk about how to get college grants and scholarships. And the very first thing is to contact the university or colleges that you are planning on attending and see what scholarships are available specifically through them. Next, I highly recommend that you do a search on the Web for just general scholarships available. You do want to be very careful when conducting a Web search scholarship because there are a lot of scholarship scams on the Web out there. So be very particular who you give your information to. Next is start going through the scholarships. See what requirements are listed, and make sure that you meet those requirements. Also select scholarships that are geared more towards your past experiences. There are a lot of different types of scholarships available to students, like academic, athletic scholarships, community service scholarships, leadership scholarships. So there is a lot out there for you. If you have any other questions regarding this, please visit our website at www.argosy.edu.
