Hi, my name is Brooke Kramer, and I am the financial aid officer with Argosy University in Salt Lake City. And today, we're going to talk about what are the steps to applying for a grant. And this very much depends on what type of grant that you are applying for. If it's a research grant or a medical grant, you're going to want to look at the requirements that is listed on the grant application and then follow these to the T to what you are applying for. If you're applying for a federal grant, then all you need to do is complete the free application for federal student aid, which you can find that at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Once you've completed this, the financial aid officer at the school you are planning on attending will notify you what grants you are able...eligible for through the federal government.
