"Hi, my name is Brooke Kramer, and I'm the financial aid officer with Argosy University in Salt Lake City. And today, we're going to talk about how to apply for Cal Grants. And this is specifically meant for California high school students who plan on attending a four-year college. These grants are specifically meant for students with financial need as well as students who are meeting a certain grade point average. In order to get started, you need to first complete the free application for federal student aid. You can find this at www.fafsa.ed.gov. Once you complete this, the financial aid officer at the university you plan on attending will let you know whether or not you meet the financial need that are required in order to qualify for the Cal Grants. Once you complete this, you will also need to submit a grade point average to the California state so they know what...if you meet those requirements.
