Hi, I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you how to clean plastic from the self-cleaning oven. If you have TV dinners or something you may have put plastic wrap on by accident, or a lot of times what happens is your husband will use the oven for storage 'cause he doesn't realize it's actually an appliance and this refrigerator is for storage. So he throws things in here. Out of sight, out of mind. You go to preheat the oven, and voila! Something with a plastic lid has melted plastic all in the bottom of your oven. That's when you need this puppy. The Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is the housewife's best friend. This is actually an off brand and it was about half the price for a pack of like six of 'em but these things are awesome. They'll clean anything, so what you do with this is get it wet. Squeeze the water out and you're armed and ready. Any plastic or anything that you may have in the bottom of your oven will wipe right off. If the plastic is really thick, you want to let the oven cool off, of course, before you do any of this and try to scrape it with your fingernail and then, but see how the Magic Eraser is already working it's magic? The corner will get brown or even black and that's how you know it's workin'. These things are awesome for everything, bathtubs, anything, and you wait until the entire Magic Eraser is brown in color like that until you toss it and use a new one. But you can, you know, let it dry out completely and store it and it's a good, it's a good handy tool. I'm Rachel Yatuzis and that is how you clean plastic from a self-cleaning oven.
