"Hi I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you how to clean Magnalite cookware. This stuff has a lot of magnesium in it and you cannot put it in the dishwasher, it's not dishwasher safe, it's more expensive so you want to take care of it and this is how you do it. You wash it just like any other pot and pan. Get a sponge wet, little bit of dish soap, little bit of water, this is the cleaning procedure for any dish that you wash by hand but including Magnalite. Rinse is really well. If you rinse with hot water, it'll dry quicker, that was a tip that my mother always told me and she is so right. You got to always listen to your momma. Then if you work in the restaurant industry or for some reason think that it needs to be sanitized, maybe the dog was drinking out of it or something like that, put about a cap of bleach in a sink full of water and drop it in there. It's sanitized instantly. So that's a way to sanitize any of your dishes. I'm Rachel Yatuzis and that is how you clean Magnalite cookware."
