"Hi I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you how to clean hard water stains on your stainless steel pans. Stainless steel is really easy to keep clean. That's why it is a popular item for kitchens these days as far as appliances and now you know pots and pans, anything like that. It is so durable. It is so easy to clean but sometimes if you put your pots and pans in the dishwasher especially it is going to get hard water stains on it. This one has got a few around the edge, I don't know if you can see but you can use a good stainless steel polish. If you are going to have your pots and pans hanging a lot of people have them hanging up over an island or someting, you want them to be nice and shiny so you can use a good stainless steel polish. Make sure it is nontoxic because this is something you are going to be cooking with. I know that Method makes a really good stainless steel polish and you can just buff it on to there. It will get rid of any marks that are on there and you know except for scratches. Also if you've got some major stains or hard water build up you can dump some vinegar in there, add a little bit of water and just add water until the fill line is up past the stain. Let that sit and you can let it sit for overnight if you want. The vinegar will really make it shiny and get rid of the stains. Lemon juice also works excellent to get rid of any stains on stainless steel. My best advice is preventative measure. Don't put pots and pans in the dishwasher. It wastes space which wastes water. Wash them by hand and then dry them by hand and you will not have hard water stains on them. I'm Rachel Yatuzis and that is how you clean hard water stains off of stainless steel pots and pans."
