"Hi, I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you how to remove bathtub mildew. You can make a paste, first of all, if you really need to scrub, by using baking soda and vinegar. Once you've mixed it up, it should be about the consistency of soft scrub, pretty thick and it's really gritty. It works really. The baking soda is such a great abrasive substance. Use this to apply to any cracks or seams in your tub that may be harboring mildew and mold and you should be able to scrub them right out. If you need to let the baking soda mixture sit for a couple of hours, you can. It'll help cook the stain out if there is a stain. To keep the mold, to make sure to kill the mold or mildew and keep it from coming back, you want to mix bleach with water. Takes a tiny bit of bleach. Only use about a capful in a quart of water, which is this size. And that's going to keep your mildew from coming back and it's going to kill any remaining spores.
