"Hi, I'm Rachel Yatuzis and I'm going to show you how to remove fingernail polish from car upholstery. A lot of times if you're taking a road trip and maybe your wife's trying to you know, burn some time and painting her nails but when you're on bumpy roads it's probably not a good idea because you could spill it on to your upholstery. This is a really tricky thing to get out. And if it's wet still, obviously you want to blot it, with whatever you have available, tissue, paper towels, blot it, blot it, blot it. When you're left with a dried fingernail polish on the fabric, the next thing you want to do is pick as much of it off as you can with some tweezers. And just, you know, pick as much of the paint off as you can. Then use hair spray to spray, really douse that paint, spray it, spray it, spray it. Have a sponge or whatever is available, to scrub it. And then, blot it again. Repeat this until the stain is gone. If you're lucky you'll get it completely out. If you're not lucky you may be left with a little spot. But it's not big deal, it happens, it's a car you know, you spend a lot of time in it. So just have some tweezers and a scrub brush and something to blot the stain with and should be able to get it out. I'm Rachel Yatuzis and that is how you get fingernail polish out of car upholstery."
