How to Remove Makeup Stains From Clothing

"Hi, I'm Rachel Yatuzis, and I'm going to show you how to remove makeup stains from clothing. Most makeup is oil base, so you want to go with that. First, try to get all the oils out, so grab your baking soda. You know, this can happen; a lot of times women, foundation, if you put your makeup on before you put your clothes on it'll get on your shirt or on your collar. Or men, if you're huggin' your wife maybe she got some foundation on your shirt. This is how you get it out. Grab your baking soda; sprinkle it onto the stain, and scrub it with a scrub brush, and keep doing this. The baking soda will ball up, and that's because it is soaking up the oil. Just do this a couple of times till' it doesn't ball up anymore. This works really, really well; especially lipstick and things like that. They're oil based. You want to suck up the oil first this way. Now, you may be left with just a spot. You can use hairspray to spray on it if you want. Hairspray's great for ink and things like that. Wet it; rub it in really well. The hairspray will grab a hold of the makeup and bring it to the surface, and hairspray is awesome for removing stains on lots of things. It won't remove the stain completely, the hairspray won't, but you will see it start to fade. After this happens you want to spray some stain remover that you normally let em' sit ten, fifteen minutes. You could let it sit overnight, depending on how long the stain has been there; how much it's been able to set in, and then wash the item of clothing as you normally would. Let it go through the wash, you know. Put it in the dryer; let it dry, and when it comes out the makeup should be gone. I'm Rachel Yatuzis, and that is how you remove makeup stains from clothing."
