Hi I'm Rachel Yatuzis, and I'm going to show you the best way to clean plastic eyeglass lenses. If you have scratches you want to remove those first, of course. And if you have some Armour Edge, that stuff is really great. Be care not to get it on the frames. But not everybody has that lying around. What you probably do have is lemon Pledge, or a lemon you know dusting cleaner. And the thing about this is what makes it remove the scratches is the wax that's in there. The wax is going to fill in the cracks and scratches, so. Buff it in there for a couple of minutes, just keep buffing and buffing and buffing. Another thing you can try is Brasso, you can buff Brasso into the lenses for three to four minutes on each side. Obviously this is demonstration purposes, and you don't want to stand here and watch me buff the lenses for three to four minutes, but. After you rinse them just have a nice glass cleaner handy. And your glasses should be as good as new. I'm Rachel Yatuzis, and that is how you clean plastic eyeglass lenses.
