About Tarot Reading With Playing Cards

"In the old days most ladies that I knew in my grandmother's groups; they used to use the regular deck of playing cards. The modern day tarot cards really came from the playing cards. There are hearts, spades, diamonds, and clubs. These all represent the four suits in the regular playing cards; also the two jokers. The particular deck that we have is a combination. It has angel images, but it also goes in the same suit as the regular playing cards. Each of these suits represents a different energy of the four directions, fire, air, earth, and water. In doing a reading with these types of cards you can find out if someone, if their lover's coming back. You can find out if they're going to have money. You can find out many things. There are so many different layouts for this sort of situation. I find it best to study books if you don't have a teacher that gives you the regular playing card delineations. So, the numbers going from the ace to to the number two have a number system as well. Some people study numerology, and they can incorporate the numerology with the regular playing cards. So, one would shuffle, think of the question, spread the cards, and then we would pick cards that we would focus on thinking about the answer to the question. So, now we've pulled the queen of spades. The queen of spades often represents a woman of earth, of dark hair. In this particular deck it says that there could be turbulence, so let's see how this works. So, this is probably having to do with a woman who has dark hair who may be going through a little bit of difficulty. And we know this to be true because we've now pulled the three of diamonds, and that speaks about finding peace and serenity, so we know that this person would need that. Ah, this is wonderful. We also have another diamond which means protection. And then, the fourth card is a spade once again. My interpretation of this is there is a younger person; probably in the same family line as the dark haired woman, and there may be some difficulties with that younger person in their life, and I would suggest that they find their own path towards hope and happiness regardless of the situation. And this is how we can take a negative and turn it positive. If we can manifest through any type of symbolism a more positive attitude towards any situation we can have a resolvement not only within ourselves, but create that resolvement all around us. For instance, just like the suits, the dark suits represent someone who is more dark skinned or dark haired, so here we have a jack that I've just pulled and the it's a jack of spades. So, this would be someone who's not older in the sixties or seventies; anywhere in the forties, thirties, that sort of age, and so we know that because that is a suit card. The two of clubs here; that represents a little bit of duality, new enterprises, and new energies. Oh, and let's get an ace here. Ace is new new beginnings. This is something leaving the old and coming into the new. And that's a club, of course, so that's going to be enterprise just as the other club was, so let's get a let's get a king of diamonds here. The king of diamonds is royalty. He really rules. All of the kings are more in a rulership position. Oftentimes, the male cards do not necessarily represent a male. It can also represent a very strong willed female who has a lot of abundant energy. So, we have a queen and a king of diamonds together. I always suggest that you find a good metaphysical store and valid teachers to teach you any of these sciences. Myself, I was born to it so it was kind of ready-made. And sometimes I forget that people can become very confused, so my first suggestion is to find a place that you feel comfortable with. Find a teacher you feel comfortable with. It's not just an idle curiosity. Remember, we're talking about opening up your psychic awareness."
