You have something in your background, that may have happened when you were much younger, as a teenager or as a young adult, and now you're entering the business world, and you don't want this coming up, and you've heard something about expunging previous matters, but you're not sure what that means. Hello, I'm Robert Todd, and I'm here to answer the question, How to file a motion to expunge your record? Well, this contemplates that the record that you want expunged, is a criminal record, and so at the very outset, we would strongly urge you to consider hiring an attorney, a criminal attorney, to assist you in expunging this criminal record. First of all, it's going to vary from state to state, what can be expunged, and when it can be expunged, and what has to be done to have that record expunged. If you're concerned enough about it to have it expunged, you should be concerned about it enough, to hire a specialist to assist you, to make sure it's done correctly. I'm Robert Todd, and thank you for watching.
