"You just got another speeding ticket and you're not sure your insurance company is going to treat you very fairly after getting one and you are contemplating fighting the ticket. Hello I'm Robert Todd and I'm here to answer the question how to fight a speeding ticket. Well the first thing you want to do is read the ticket itself and see if you can determine whether if you do decide to fight it and go to court whether you run the risk of paying a greater fine and court costs than simply paying the fine by mailing it in. You also want to check the ticket to see if the officer that provided you with the ticket accurately described you, the color of your hair, the color of your eyes, the year, make, model and color of the automobile in which you were driving when you received the speeding ticket and see if there's any other inaccurate information. And if you decide to fight it, we would strongly recommend that you hire the services of a traffic attorney who is familiar with the traffic court in your area and who does this on a regular basis. This is not the time to try your first case in a traffic court for a speeding ticket when you've never done this before. I'm Robert Todd and thank you for watching."
