"So you are buying silver bars and if you were buying silver bars it's a type of investment that's speculative on the increasing price of a precious metal. So when you are buying silver bars you are basically buying either the actual bars or you are buying an investment that represents that through a broker who is in that business. And what you would be doing is trying to find silver at a price where you felt it was low and a good value and also that you expect silver to be going up in value so when you come time to, when it comes time to sell that silver you've made this substantial profit. So buying silver bars is really no different then any other investment you are just buying something that rather then a company or an actively moving asset is something that is a tangible precious metal and your speculation is that the value of the precious metal will go up over time making you, creating a gain for yourself."
