"How to tap a beer keg. So, a tap is just a special device that you use to get the beer from your keg out to here so you can pour it. Of course, being at a bar, ours has special lines that run from where the kegs are stored out to here. But, if you're at a party or something, it'll just be a tap with a small tube that has a pourer on the end. So, first, you have to take the tap and it will lock into place on the keg. You have to just find where the grooves fit and then twist it into place. And, once you do that, there is a form of handle on most taps that you just have to push down on and then you're pretty much good to go. Either you have CO2 tanks hooked up to your tap that will force the beer out automatically or you'll have to pump it manually, if that's the type of tap you're using."
