"How to pour a black and tan. Traditionally a black and tan is Bass and Guinness. And the Bass is on the bottom, the Guinness floats on top. But in reality you can make a black and tan with really anything that the Guinness will float on top of. So sometimes we use IPAs some people like that. But whatever it floats on top of will work. So the first step is to fill the glass roughly half way with the Bass. And now you take the spoon, it's a special spoon designed for making black and tans. Has a little rim that rests on the glass and you use the spoon upside down. Pour the Guinness right over the spoon. And as you can see the Guinness floats right on top and you don't need that spoon to do it. You can just use a normal spoon, it might be a little trickier but it will work just fine."
