Transportation expenses can be reduced by traveling less, walking more, riding a bicycle perhaps to get to your destination. There are many expenses, of course. Moving to a cheaper place, as opposed to a more expensive locale. The more you lower expenses it raises your potential income and money that you do have for investment, so this is a great opportunity for individuals that are looking to start, to live a frugal lifestyle, and in the end they will have more dollars available for expenses, or rather for investment purposes.
