"My name is Josie Minks and I'm a labor and delivery nurse in Austin, Texas and the question was posed, "Can you get pregnant while using condoms?" Condoms are 90-95% effective if used with a spermicide or using birth control pills but, abstinence is the only way to not get pregnant. But, condoms are also useful in preventing STD's like HIV/AIDS, but the answer is yes, to that question. You still can get pregnant while using condoms. They are 90-95% effective if you are using it with other additives like spermicide or birth control pills."
