"My name is Josie Minks. I'm a Labor and Delivery Nurse in Austin, Texas and I'm here to talk about the signs of pregnancy during, while breastfeeding. Because you're breastfeeding, you might not experience a lack of menstruation which determine; which might signify that you're pregnant and so that's not a good sign to go by to determine if you're pregnant while breastfeeding. But there are all many of the other symptoms and signs of pregnancy that often look like a regular menstrual period like nausea vomiting or sometimes spotting, vaginal spotting, backache, headaches, breast tenderness, fatigue and then oftentimes your first child who is breastfeeding may win him or herself simply because the breast milk has change because you are pregnant; but that, it might taste sour or bitter or salty and so the baby itself might win him or herself which might be a clue that you might be pregnant. So there are signs and symptoms of pregnancy while breastfeeding."
