Hi my name is Brooke Kramer and I am the financial aid officer with Argosy University in Salt Lake City and today we are going to talk about what is a free scholarship award certificate. And by certificate most universities actually mean an award letter. Once you apply for a scholarship and submit it, if you are chosen to receive that scholarship the school or also government or possibly even the corporation that which you applied for the scholarship will send you an award letter. This will state how much you've received, what usually the stipulations of the scholarship is. Such as if it's an academic scholarship you'll be required to maintain such and such GPA as well as when the scholarship is going to be first disbursed and how long that scholarship is going to last for.
