"Hi, my name is Brooke Kramer and I am a financial aid officer with Argosy University in Salt Lake City and today we're going to talk about African American scholarships, and there are a lot of scholarships available out and there are also a lot of scholarships that are avail, available to specific races and ethnicities. So the best thing to do is first contact your university and see if they do have a specific scholarship geared towards African Americans and if not, you can also apply for diversity scholarships which is kind of the same thing. It's above your...sorry...a diversity scholarship is usually a scholarship geared to someone who is diverse from their community, and they, you will be able to then, when you start rice, writing your essay, state in there what really differentiates you from maybe your community. You might also want to check out private organizations as as well as non-private organizations for scholarships geared towards African Americans.
