"Hi. My name is Brooke Kramer, and I am a financial aid officer with Argosy University in Salt Lake City. And today we're going to talk about what are free scholarships and grants. And pretty much scholarships and grants are technically two different things. Usually grants are given to students through either the federal government or through a organization. Grants you normally have to, at least with federal grants, you have to complete the free application for federal student aid, which you can find at www.fafsa.ed.gov. And for scholarships, you normally apply for those either straight to the university or through a company. With scholarships you usually fill out a scholarship application and also sometimes have to provide letters of recommendation as well as essays or other references in order to qualify for those. If you have additional questions about Pell Grant, you can visit our website at www.argosy.edu."
