"Hi my name is Brooke Kramer and I am the financial aid officer with Argosy University and today we're going to talk about how to find scholarship applications. And there are scholarship applications available in many places. The first place I would suggest is to actually go to the college that you are planning on attending and ask for their list of scholarships. You can also go to your local library and see if there are reference guides to other types of scholarships available through either the federal government or through your state agencies. You can also go online and just do general searches on the web for scholarships. Now if you do searches on the scholarship, you want to be very careful who you actually apply your scholarship to. There are fraudulent scholarships out on the web so anything that requires that you make payments toward them first or they guarantee that you're going to win is most likely not a qualified scholarship and it's fraudulent.
