"Hi my name is Brooke Kramer and I am the financial aid officer with Argosy University in Salt Lake City and today we're going to talk about how to get a soccer scholarship. And the first thing you're going to want to do is check out what types of schools actually offer a soccer scholarship. Many schools are limited on type of scholarships they can offer so you definitely want to check out whether or not they have that even available. The next thing is to start creating statements, letters, letters of recommendations from coaches as well as possibly having a person come out and see you play since most sports scholarships are based on how you perform during soccer. You might also want to consider completing the free applications for federal student aid. Some schools may require that you complete the FAFSA before they will actually use your scholarship application as the candidate for a scholarship. If you have additional questions regarding pell grant, you can visit our website at www.argosy.edu."
