We're going to talk about how to find a ferret breeder. Now the American Ferret Association or ferret.org online is good place to start. That is, there is a wealth of information on that website as far as breeders and ferrets in general. You want to research ferrets first to make sure a ferret is appropriate pet for you. Also, the legal issues along with it. Not all ferrets are not accepted in every State as far as legal issues are concerned. So you have to check with your local and State laws. So, through websites there are, you know, several breeders or large breeding facilities for ferrets. The cons of doing that would be, you can't interact with the ferret first if it's going to be shipped to you and also shipping can be stressful and expensive sometimes as well. And so, that, that's the reason that sometimes pet stores are a good, or a better way to go, because you can interact with that ferret right off the bat and know whether it's an appropriate pet or if it's personalities gel with you and your family and that sort of thing. So, check and make sure a ferret is appropriate for you in the first place. But ferret.org is a very large website that can help you find breeders online.
