Let's talk about how to give your ferret a bath. It's not generally recommended for ferrets, to bathe them unless there's a medical reason for that or if they just get themselves really dirty. And so, ferrets don't typically like baths just like cats. And so you have to just be really careful and go slow. Using a sink and using warm water is the first thing to do and then what you would do is use a ferret approved shampoo that's really diluted. And so you would use a kind of partially filled sink. Go very very slow, because if you obviously just put the ferret in there they may react very negatively and they can bite. They're carnivores so you have to again be careful, don't put yourself in harms way. And so what you would want to do is gently just kind of gently wet the ferret down with the warm water and then also then use the diluted shampoo . After lathering it up, rinse them off thoroughly. You also want to dry them. You don't want ferrets to get chilled or you know decrease their body temperature because they could become ill that way as well. Check with your pet store or your veterinary clinic and they can guide you through this. But again, just be real careful. Don't get bit and just go slow, use kind of warm water and a sink or a small kind of basin, is going to be the easiest way to go about that.
