"Hi, my name is Mark and we're going to look at careers in Market Research. Ho do you get a job in Market Research? Well being, being involved in Market Research today is a very, very good job indeed primarily because the market is changing all the time. And therefore, research needs to take place so that the organization knows how best the position this product or service on the regional, local, national, international level. Market Research requires both analytical and a creative mind primarily because you need to get as much information from people as cleverly and as painlessly as possible. So therefore you need to be able to design and create methods by which you can extract information and also ways in which you can motivate people to give you that kind of information back. So it requires quite a lot of skill. Now being in this position, you need to obviously have gain some form of educational background on a minimum level on a graduate's, a graduate degree in marketing. But as obviously, the job market now is hosting up in terms of competition probably even the Masters level to careers require. Now having gone through the educational crisis, you also need to do your time in terms of experience and you can get that by being out in the field; so that would mean that you probably have to start, irrespective of age, but setting the experience being the keyword at ground level and be prepared to start doing basic jobs and what you have through the organization. But, be rest assured once you have found your way on the ladder with that, it is a job that is in constant need in demand and obviously the more experience you have, the better you get paid."
