"In this next clip, I'm going to go over the question, "How many steps are there in a mile?" And in my research, again depending on your stride, there's roughly two thousand, which you want to make sure with your stride to prevent any injury, if you're just simply walking, you're going to go for a heel toe stride, reaching your leg right out in front, land your heels first and relax your foot right down. You don't want to extend your stride too far to try to make it to few steps in that mile, you just want to go your own pace. If your legs are longer, there's going to be shorter strides; if your legs are shorter, there's going to be a whole lot more and if you're running versus walking, you're going to have shorter strides as you're walking and you're going to get cover much more ground with the run so there going to be fewer strides with the your run. Hope that answers your question."
