"Hi, I'm Stephanie, from stephanieknaturals.com and I'm going to show you how to make a lemon perfume. When I'm starting my perfumes, I actually do a blend of base notes, middle notes and top notes and lemon is a top note. What this means is that it's going to come off very quickly. So, in order to have a nice balanced blend and for it to be a little more lasting, you'll want to blend your lemon oil with a couple of other, a couple of other oils, at least one, a middle note and base note. Also, you don't want to get too high of a concentration of lemon oil because you don't want to wind up making your skin get a little bit sunburned in the sun. And so, I'm going to start with this lemon and I'm just going to put a few drops into my vial and then just kind of guess at how much I want. And then, I'll put in the middle notes that I've chosen and, lastly, I'll put in the base notes in and I'll write down the number of drops of each of these so that I can make the same perfume later. Then I'm going to let it sit for 24 to 48 hours because, as these blend together, they can change and, you know, so you let that blend mature and then you come back to it, smell it and make adjustments. And then, when it gets to the point that you really like it, then you dilute it in your carrier and the carrier can be an oil like a Hobler refractionating coconut or you can use alcohol. Use a high proof alcohol like EverClear that something like vodka, because regular vodka has too much water in it and things won't blend as well. So, then, once it gets to the point that you like it, you dilute it and there you go. You have a nice little lemon perfume"
