"How much bass do you want? Do you want a complimentary based on what's in the car, do you want the neighbors to hear you three blocks down the road. Speakers vary. Typical sub woofers vary from 10 inches to 15 inches, 15 is being more a competition type show sub woofer, the 10 and 12 inch sizes are more common in what most people want. The 10 is a more usable sub woofer that just compliments what's in the car, that's what more adults would want. Younger generation, younger kid's are going to want two of the 12's, they're going to want their hair to move, they want to impress their friends and have quarters jump off the roof. So it's really- it's a big misconception that subs mean you're a kid, because it's really a very important part of your music, and if you don't have it then part of your music is just not there, it's not being reproduced, because the smaller speakers that are in your doors, from the factory, cannot reproduce the lower frequencies."
