Hi, I'm Stephanie from stephanieknaturals.com and I'm going to tell you about what chemicals are in perfume. Now most of the perfumes and fragrances on the market contains synthetic ingredients. So rather than being pure lavender oil, they may reconstitute it with several other chemicals and possibly just one chemical like linalool and other times they just don't even reconstitute the whole oil but, they'll just use individual chemicals. Some are natural derive, some are not and then in addition to those, sometimes there are specific chemicals added just to fix the perfume; make it last longer; make it more diffusive. My preference in perfuming is to not use any synthetic chemicals but just use the natural oils and there are many people who enjoy who using only natural oils in their perfumes. So both ways you can have some really nice perfumes come out, so.
