"Hello. My name is Lauren Saldana. I'm an entomology major over at FSU, and I specialize in arachnids. So today we're going to be talking about how to identify the spiders of Illinois. And, the first one that we'll be talking about is the Arrow-shaped Micrathena, which has a small cephalathorax, which is either dark red or dark brown kind of color. And, they are found in woodland kind of areas, and in the gardens. And the next one that we'll be talking about is the American House Spider, which is like a yellow-brownish kind of color, and their abdomen is streaked and splotched with little spots on all of it's sides. And that's it for Illinois."
