Hi I'm Ben from the Cellphone Broker in San Jose, California. Someone recently asked me if there's a way to call a long distance from a private number. If you want to call from a private number to someone long distance, all you need to do the first time if you're going to do it is hit *67 and then dial that person's number. That'll allow you to make a private phone call one time. If you want to have a permanent private number where the other person will not be able to see what your number is, then you can contact your wireless carrier and then have them make your number private or blocked. If, like I said, if you just want to do it once or twice, just hit *67 and then dial the phone number that you're trying to reach and it will show up on their caller ID as a private or blocked number.
