I have already a planted grapes which come a vine, for the first 5 years. i enjoyed eating and harvesting, but not so many fruits, is it advisable to prune it cause the vine spread in any direction and the fruit is very small not like those in the market which is bigger? pls. advice me how to manage correctly so that it will bear fruit correctly.

Hi, this is Yolanda Vanveen and in this segment, we're going to talk about how to grow a vegetable garden. Well, vegetable gardens are really easy to grow. All you need is a sunny spot, some access to water and a place to grow them. And it could be just a small corner on a deck or a patio and just by using some bricks or some cement blocks and building that up. You can make a nice, raised bed, and that's the ultimate spot for a flower garden or a vegetable garden. And I love to include edible flowers in my vegetable garden as well because there's nothing as more beautiful than some pansies on a cake or in a salad. And the easiest way to start seeds, I have found, is to just raise some dirt up and make little troughs in the dirt, and then just sprinkle the seed into the trough and then kind of pinch it back and then when you're watering your vegetable garden, use a knob that has a mister. So just like a shower head. Get one of those for your, so by using a mister, you can mist all of your vegetables and it won't just create a river and then that way that your vegetables will start real easily. But you can start a vegetable garden pretty much anywhere and it's really easy and my rule of thumb is only grow the vegetables that you enjoy. If you love salad, grow salad, and tomatoes, and onions, and everything that goes with it and make sure to never start your seeds before the last frost, so make sure and start these seeds into the season when it's a little bit warmer because you can start 'em indoors as well, and put 'em outdoors later. But in the end, I love having a vegetable garden by starting with seeds after the last frost, misting them down and then letting them grow on their own and making sure not to put a corn plant right in the middle of a small bed, and picking different plants that look good together and not forgetting edible flowers and herbs because they belong in a vegetable garden as well. And that way, you can enjoy a vegetable garden pretty much anywhere.
