Now, the Castor Bean Plant actually can grow into a tree that's twelve feet tall. It's found all over Southeast Asia and it's a beautiful, beautiful tree. Then it gets these really long pods that come off of it that is used for castor beans. And they're really easy to grow; they need full hot sun, good drainage, and they don't want to get too cold in the winter. They cannot handle any freezing temperatures. So, if you live in a cold climate you have to bring them inside for the winter. If you live in a warm climate you can leave them outside. Just make sure they have good organic material to grow in and good drainage and you'll find that they'll grow really well. And you plant em and they will come. Now, there's parts of the tree that some people say are poisonous. So, when you're actually eating the Castor Bean plant, there's certain ways that you can cook em, and certain ways that when you collect the beans you have to be careful too because some of the leaves, it's said that they are poisonous.
