"How do you start a fundraiser? Find out what it is that you really want to do, what is your goal, what is the purpose of the funds that you're raising? Is it for a particular event or to give to a particular part of your organization? Perhaps it is for youth or maybe it is a thing focused for your mens' group or something so because those different things would really cause you to lean towards different fundraising ideas so it is important then to find out what it is that these funds are for. Then have a goal. How much money is it that you are trying to raise? Because that then will help you to determine the type of fundraising that you are going to do. If you need $10,000 by the next six months then you probably don't want to look into doing car washes. It just simply is not going to help you to reach the goal so the particular fundraising that you need is something that is going to generate the income that you are looking to generate. So when starting a fundraiser make sure it is something that is going to help you or not be, simply not be a waste of your time. So when starting a fundraiser it is important that you have plan, get the vision out there, make it clear, you want people to help. You are going to need people to help you to make it a successful fundraiser. Find the goal, what it is that you are trying to achieve, how much money is it that you are trying to raise and go for it."
