Have you ever wondered how to share the stories of the Bible with little children? You know Jesus said that we shouldn't hinder little kids because the Kingdom of God belongs to such as these and what he was talking about was the attitude that they have. So humble and so open and they're like sponges just ready for you to pour into them and if we take the approach that Jesus took with his teachings he always took advantage of opportunities to share stories with people. He always used modern day things and images and jobs and the things that were around at that particular time and told stories. He used things that people could relate to and so likewise when we are trying to deal with children we can take the perfect wonderful truths of the Bible and break them down to a language that even a child can understand. For instance the wonderful story of how God sent his son, Jesus, to die for us that we wouldn't have to die, that we could live forever and have eternal life with him. Sometimes we think that that could be a hard concept for people with children to grasp but even that great story can be told in such a way to where it would bring excitement and understanding to children. I had the opportunity recently just to talk to some kids and to get them to know that God is love and that because God is love, God gives, you know that's such a simple concept and kids understand that and they're able to get the truth and the meat out of that subject and how that means and can speak something to them it just simply depends on how you portray it and how you deliver it to them. But take advantage of the opportunities you have to pour into the lives of kids and don't mistake them for being naive and being misunderstanding. If you take the truth of the Bible and put it in a way that they can understand those stories can simply come alive to a young life.
