"Hey my name is Shaun and I'm here with the Wilmington Boxing and Fitness Center and I'm here to talk to you today about which exercise helps you tone your thighs. Here is the leg press and it is good for your quads, your butt and your hamstrings, how you want to use it is you want to sit down, get your feet flat, and shoulder width apart. Make sure that you have a weight that you are comfortable with using. So you want to press up to at least the safety handle. One of the things with this exercise, you want to make sure that you are not locking out your knees because that will put a lot of stress on your joints and that you are not coming too far back to your chest like so. You don't want to come to far down because that is going to put stress on your knees. For someone beginning, starting out, you will want to do at least two sets, about fifteen to twenty repetitions at a light weight starting out but if you are someone that has been going for a while you can go maybe three sets at a range between eight to ten repetitions and that is how you use exercise machines to tone your thighs."
