"Hey, my name is Shaun and I'm here with the Wilmington Boxing and Fitness Center. Today I'm going to show you how to properly run the forty yard dash. Starting out you want to get in to the right stance, starting out. Most people think, you know I can just get here before I take off running. No, the proper stance you want to get in to first, you want to get down in to your running stance, hands up, hand back. You want to be down towards the ground in your running start. And the reason for that is because you don't want to run against resistance of wind, and you're cutting that resistance by running lower to the ground. When you start out you're going to be here, you're going to be stepping, just like that, starting out during the forty yard dash. And when you come to the end of that forty yard dash, that's when you're going to want to start slowly coming up towards the end of that forty yard dash because now you've done cut that wind resistance from holding you back. And that's how you run a forty yard dash."
