"Hi my name is Jonathan and I'm with Champion MMA and today we're going to be talking about developing the power punch. Make sure every time you start hitting the bag, wrap your hand before you put on your gloves. That is a safety thing so that you don't hurt your wrists or your knuckles. Let's go pretty much into development of our power punch. The first thing you want to do is you want to plant, we are going to throw today right into a jab and a left hand, it's a right and a left. We are pretty much going to go into making sure we plant our foot. The power punch is going to come when you plant that foot and directing your hip and projecting that punch. It's going like this, boom. We come right back to our face, plant that foot, bring the hip and throw the punch. So we go plant, boom, plant that foot. We are going to demonstrate now in full speed. That's how you throw a power punch."
