Hi, Joel Hickerson, Today we're going to learn how to draw a spooky Halloween tree. First thing about a Halloween tree, and we're going to draw the trunk. And the trunk on a Halloween tree would probably not go straight up. We would want to kind of angle it up. Give us something to work with. And thicken it up. And now the Halloween tree is probably going to not have any leaves on it. So we start branching our branches out. And again, sharp angles and you can branch off branches from that. Make the little branches disappear. If you want to put a leaf or two, you could and maybe black it out. And that's what we're going to do to make it even spookier we are going to fill it in and make it dark. But we may even silhouette it a little bit. Like maybe put a moon behind it. You could even put the witches moon, where the witch is flying in front of it. Or you can maybe stick a silhouette of a maybe a crow out here or a owl or a even a buzzard if you, if you feel so inclined. You can always give it a red eye. Again, you might want to put a, the Halloween moon behind it to kind of silhouette. A thing about Halloween is you need to put it on a tree or on a hill, putting your tree on a hill. And maybe some other little trees in the background to kind of set it off. Make it look even more stark. And you come back and you give it some shadows. If you really want to have some fun you could maybe make it a hollow tree, with a couple of eyes, red eyes coming out of a hole in the tree itself. And that's, that's pretty much the element. You can add as many branches and maybe even throw a couple leaves on there to enhance the composition of the tree. And if you want to do that. And that's pretty much, that's pretty much your basic elements that you would need to make a good spooky Halloween tree. You could, I guess the only other thing that you might be able to do to make it look even more spooky is to make these branches kind of look like hands out here, to almost look like he's reaching out to grab you. And that would pretty much sum up the basic elements of a spooky Halloween tree. And that's how you draw a spooky Halloween tree.
