"Hello I'm Dr. Deborah Wheeler. I'm the Vice President of Academic Affairs for Argosy University on the Salt Lake City Campus. I'm also a Clinical Psychologist. Today's topic is how to find fun dress up games with toddlers. That topic is a fun one for toddlers because they get to play make believe. You might have a simple chest full of clothes and you can have them try on those outfits, pretend that they're different characters or people and get to play make believe. It is fun for kids to do that. I know that my child at a birthday party had a theme birthday party where that was the activity. We had them dress up in their clothes. The girls got to make hats out of paper plates and flowers and had a great time just playing dress up. Toddlers loved that. You don't need to spend a lot of money. You don't need to spend a lot of time. You can simply take the chest out of the closet, have it filled with all kinds of fun things, let them dress up, play make believe, have them do a fashion show for you once in a while. It can be a lot of fun for a toddler. It doesn't have to be a complicated game, something simple they'll enjoy. If you'd like more information on this topic or any others that we can help you with on parenting please contact us at argosy.edu."
