"Hi, I'm Ashleigh Gass, strength and conditioning specialist with brilliantathlete.com. What are some safe muscle building supplements that you can take? First of all, that's a great question and I'm going to answer it from two perspectives. Number one, if your diet isn't very good or you have really no nutritional plan in general and you're hoping that supplements will help you build muscle, you want to change your thought pattern. First of all, improve your nutritional plan. More details on this are available from a nutritional education system called Precision Nutrition, originally created by Dr. John Berardi. This is available in the products tab at brilliantathlete.com. Why is your nutrition plan important? Because if you're not eating very well and you're not eating enough and you're training a lot, building muscle mass will never work for you. Now, from the perspective of someone that has got a great nutritional plan and uses certain supplements to help muscles recover and build? I'll give you a couple of answers. Product I'd recommend, number one would be branch chain amino acids. These are certain kinds of proteins that when taken during and even after exercise can really help out with muscle recovery and muscle building during periods where you're also trying to lose body fat. For detailed information on the brands that I recommend, you can contact me via e-mail at brilliantathlete.com. Another supplement that may come in very handy to you is creatine monohydrate. This is a substance that does help with muscle recovery. It also helps with muscles building, again during times of fat loss. It can also help when you're a...a speed athlete attempting to increase general strength and power in the gym. There are a couple of brands that I use and recommend. For details on this, you can contact me via e-mail at brilliantathlete.com. So to wrap it up, gaining muscle mass requires a good nutritional plan, lots of high quality food and there are certain, very safe muscle building supplements that you can take. For more details on this, contact me at brilliantathlete.com."
