"Hi, my name is Roger. I'm with R-Tech Computers. And the question I was asked was. How do I get in a safe mode on my Gateway Laptop? Windows, before it starts to boot has the opportunity for a brief moment. Where you can press the F8 key. Now if you were to wait till you see the Windows logo. You've already waited too long. So we really, we find what works for us. We wait for the Bios screen to load. And shortly after the Bios screen loads, you start pressing the F8 key repeatedly. And usually that would get you in a safe mode, without any problems. If you find that still doesn't work. Then you can start pressing it, shortly after the Bios screen loads. Rather than waiting for it to disappear. And that's almost guaranteed to get you into safe mode. And keep in mind, safe mode is a Diagnostic mode. Many of the features and functions that you're used to, are not going to be available in safe mode."
