Are you considering being an angel investor? Hi, this is Roger Groh at Groh Asset Management. Angel investor is the first investor in a startup. They are the folks who give you the monies that you can go hire your first employee or open your first office. They're the earliest. What does it take to be an angel investor? Not much, some cash, a little bit of advertising. What does advertising mean? Well get your name out there, setup a website with your name, address and the keywords angel investor. Also if you attend venture capital conventions or visit venture capitalists, those are other steps that you can take. Last but not least you can always advertise in the financial papers. What type of investment should you make as an angel investor? Well that's really up to you. But if it were me, I would probably stick with businesses that I really knew how to run that way you can look at business plans and size them up and figure out if the plan was had a legitimate chance of succeeding and if the personnel were seasoned enough in order to make it happen. Hope that helps, I'm Roger Groh at Groh Asset, thank you very much for spending time with me.
