"Hi, I'm Gary Malec, and in this video, I'm going to show you how to put RAM in a laptop. Generally, all laptops are the same in the sense that you're going to want to flip it upside down and you look for the panel. As you can see here on the bottom, there's a little icon for RAM here. It'll be on any laptop -- they all have them. This one seems to be a little bit of a pain in the butt because it has a lot of screws, but some of them are only one screw, two screws, so... Remove all the screws. Then you should just pop it open. Be careful not to lose any of your screws. If we have it open... On this computer here, there's two spots. There are two spots, so in this computer, there'll be no room to upgrade without swapping out chips, so to that, there's going to be little clips on the end here. You're going to want to put one finger on each and just pull them out. And the RAM chip pops up, and just lightly pull it out. And then same with the other one. Now, you can put your bigger ones in. Set it in, push down firmly on each side 'til it clicks in, and then push down with one finger. Snap it. Do the same with the following. Make sure it's all the way in before you snap it into place. There you go, and there you go. And that's how you change out RAM. Just don't forget to screw your panel back on, and when you boot up your computer, it'll immediately be recognized."
