"Hi, I'm Noah, and I'm going to tell you about what you need to build a website. This can vary dramatically, depending on how advanced a computer user you are and how sophisticated a website you are trying to make. No matter how you end up building your site, it's always a good idea to get a basic understanding of HTML and CSS, at the very least. To do this, you can go to www.w3schools.com, and just go through the basic HTML and CSS tutorials. Now, once you've started to learn about these two things, you can try using an HTML editor to build up your website -- for example, Adobe Dreamweaver. Although Adobe Dreamweaver is the best known software for HTML editing, there's also a Microsoft alternative to it called Express Web. Finally, if you're not a very advanced user and just don't want to go through all the trouble, you can turn to a third-party Web hosting and design company like Homestead, for example, which will let you build your website using their design tool, which makes it very easy for beginners to do. For this, you'll just have to pay around five dollars a month for a very basic site with just a few pages, and this also includes the hosting fee, which is provided by Homestead as well."
